DESCRIPTION:Friends of Scottish Settlers (FOSS) is delighted to announce their Words of Welcome event\, in partnership with Falkirk Library. \nAs part of the Refugee Festival 2025\, they welcome people to a language taster session for Arabic\, taking place on Monday 16 June 2025\, 12:30pm – 4pm at Falkirk Library\, Hope Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 5AU. \nThe event will start off with a language taster session to explore some Arabic words\, writing\, culture and learning\, followed by a community meal of Syrian food shared together over music and conversation\, giving an attendees an opportunity to practice their learning\, chat and enjoy each other’s company. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please contact FOSS by email: doro.richter@fossfalkirk.org.uk
