SUMMARY:Firstport Information Session: Build It Application Process
DESCRIPTION:Firstport is introducing a series of online information sessions to give an inside track of the Build It application process\, with the next session taking place 10am – 11am\, Thursday 29 May 2025\, via MS Teams. \nThese sessions will include a briefing on updated funding criteria\, expert tips on the application\, and a Q&A session to address any queries. \nBuild It is for social enterprises with a track record of trading and social impact\, and that need salaried positions to take the business to the next level of financial sustainability. \nBuild It aims to help early-stage social enterprises working towards becoming financially sustainable. It offers up to £40\,000 in grant funding for salary costs so that these new jobs help the enterprise increase its income\, become financially sustainable and continue to deliver social impact without relying on grant funding. \nTypical requests include: \n\nup to £27\,000 for a single salary (at Real Living Wage)\nup to £40\,000 split between 2 or more salaries at Real Living Wage\n\nThe next application deadline is 12pm Thursday 26 June\, with pitching panels taking place on Tuesday 26 August and Thursday 28 August. \nTo register for the session\, please visit the Teams registration page.
