SUMMARY:“Falkirk’s Relationships’ First” Film Screening
DESCRIPTION:Falkirk Council is hosting a film screening of their new “Falkirk’s Relationships’ First” on Tuesday 29th August\, 12pm – 2pm at the Bo’ness Hippodrome\, 10 Hope Street\, Bo’ness\, EH51 0AA. \nThe film features young people leaving care\, and people who work for local authorities\, who explain a range of barriers they encounter\, which mean they find it difficult to maintain connections. The film then explores what these barriers may look like in Falkirk Council\, and what they as an organisation can do differently. \nTo create the film\, Falkirk’s Relationships First Design Crew of care leavers and workforce members worked together to challenge current systems\, to explore how the workforce can engage in relationships that enable care leavers to flourish. \nRepresentatives are invited to attend the film screening and hear from members of the Design Crew. The event programme involves: \n\nguests arriving to see the film\nfilm screening\nmembers of the Design Crew  will answer questions from the guests\nrefreshments and opportunity to talk to other guests for the last 30 – 40 minutes\n\nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please contact Falkirk Council by email: socialservices.training@falkirk.gov.uk
