SUMMARY:Falkirk’s Public Partnership Forum
DESCRIPTION:The next meeting of Falkirk’s Public Partnership Forum will take place on Tuesday 20th June from 6:30pm in the Council Chambers\, Municipal Buildings\, West Bridge Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 5RS. \nThe focus of the meeting will be Strathcarron Hospice\, their plans to develop community support for people with long term conditions\, and what they can do to help communities support people with long term conditions\, and their carers\, in the last year of life. \nThere will also be discussion around Power of Attorney and what it is\, along with a presentation from the Stroke Association on stroke awareness\, high blood pressure\, and the role it has to play in preventable strokes.  The Stroke Association team will be offering free blood pressure checks at the meeting. \nFor further information\, or to register your attendance\, or request support to attend such as interpreters or crèche facilities\, please contact Jessie-Anne Malcolm by phone: 01324 614660\, or email: jessie.malcolm@nhs.net
