SUMMARY:Falkirk’s Alcohol and Drug Partnership Conversation Café
DESCRIPTION:Falkirk’s Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) will host a Conversation Café event on Thursday 30 May 2024 from 10am–12pm at Forth Valley Sensory Centre\, Redbrae Road\, Camelon\, FK1 4DD. The aim of the event is to hear insights and feedback from people who are a part of\, or are connected to\, the recovery community locally. This includes users of substance misuse services\, their families\, friends and carers\, as well as staff who have relevant lived experience of accessing treatment and recovery services. \nIn coming months Falkirk ADP will be developing a 3 year strategy and delivery plan and this event will help to uncover what is currently working well and what needs to change moving forward\, in relation to the support available for people with problematic substance misuse in the Falkirk District area. Representatives from the ADP will also share information about the development of a local Lived Experience Panel. \nParticipants are welcome to attend the event on the day without signing up first however to secure your space beforehand you can register for the event online through Participate Plus\, or confirm your attendance by email: HSCPComms@falkirk.gov.uk.
