SUMMARY:Falkirk Community Planning Partnership: Chronology Learning Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The Falkirk Community Planning Partnership are hosting Chronology Learning Sessions on June 4 and June 11\, between 9:30am and 12:30pm\, at the Falkirk Council Offices in Larbert. These single day skilled training sessions are for managers and practitioners who work with children\, young people\, and families\, especially where there are concerns for children’s wellbeing and safety. This includes Adult Services\, Children’s Panel members\, Children’s Reporter\, Child Review Co-ordinators\, Education\, Fire Service\, Housing\, NHS\, Police\, Social Work\, Third Sector family support services. \nThis learning session will confirm our understanding of chronologies knowing that they provide a key link in the chain of understanding needs/risks\, including the need for protection from harm. We will review how they give a summary timeline of child and family circumstances [or those of an individual using adult services]\, patterns of behaviour and trends in lifestyle that may greatly assist any assessment and analysis. The learning session will assist you in your practice with current and ongoing assessment and risk management\, with particular emphasis on how you undertake ongoing analysis of the information you are recording. \nTo attend\, please book your place in advance via their online portal.
