SUMMARY:Falkirk Carers Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Falkirk Carers Forum will take place on Thursday 27th October\, 11am – 1pm at the Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre\, 1A Bank St\, Falkirk FK1 1NB.  Tea and coffee will be available from 10:45am\, and lunch will be served after the meeting. \nThe meeting will focus on “A New Future for Social Security”\, and will include information and discussion on the Scottish Government’s current consultation Social Security in Scotland\, which includes proposed changes to Carers Allowance and disability benefits. \nThere will also be a presentation from Arun Gopinath of the Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) regarding their services\, with a focus on hate crime and third party reporting.  Full papers will be available by email from Monday 17th October. \nTo attend the forum\, please confirm your attendance\, dietary requirements and questions or issues you wish to raise by contacting Claire Crossan before Friday 21st October by phone\, 01324 611510\, or email: clairecrossan@centralcarers.co.uk
