SUMMARY:Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre Anniversary Event
DESCRIPTION:Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre is celebrating its 20th anniversary year by holding an awareness raising event on Friday 16th September\, 9am – 5pm in the Community Hub in Howgate Shopping Centre\, Falkirk. \nCarers are people who provide care and support to family members\, other relatives\, friends and neighbours. The people they care for may be affected by disability\, physical or mental health issues (often long-term)\, frailty\, substance misuse or another condition. \nThe event aims to raise awareness of the needs of adult carers\, young adult carers and young carers\, in addition to highlighting the support that has been provided to carers within the local community. \nCarers Centre staff\, board members and volunteers will provide information about the services available to carers on the day.
