SUMMARY:Falkirk Active Travel Routes Drop-In Consultation Event
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Falkirk Active Travel Routes Survey and the work around it\, SEStran\, Arup and Falkirk Council are hosting public consultation drop-in events to gather local people’s feedback and thoughts on the proposed routes. \nThe events will take place in the Sunnyside Room of Camelon Community Education Centre\, Abercrombie Street\, Camelon\, FK1 4HA\, on: \n\nTuesday 6th February\, 12:30pm – 2:30pm\nThursday 8th February\, 6pm – 8pm\n\nThe active travel routes (focusing on walking\, wheeling and cycling) are proposed to run from Falkirk to Larbert\, and Falkirk to Polmont. These routes are part of the wider strategic network for the South East of Scotland (which provides a vision for a high quality regional active travel network across the south east of Scotland)\, and form a key part of Falkirk’s Active Travel Strategy (pdf version also available to view or download). \nLocal people can also submit their views and responses via the Virtual Engagement Room until 11:59pm on Friday 9th February. \nFor further information\, please view the previous news article\, or contact the Arup team by email: SEStranActiveTravelFalkirk@arup.com
