SUMMARY:ETU Parents Group Discussion: Disabled Parents and Parents of Disabled Children
DESCRIPTION:Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit (ETU) is offering young parents\, disabled parents and parents of disabled children the opportunity to have their voices heard by hosting group discussions via Teams on the following dates: \n\ndisabled parents and parents of disabled children: Friday 3rd September at 10:30am\nyoung parents (aged 16 – 24 years old): Wednesday 8th September at 10:30am\n\nWith these discussions\, ETU aims to ensure the support they offer meets the needs of young parents\, disabled parents\, as well as those with disabled children\, by listening to what is said and use this information to inform how and what they deliver. \nAttendees will come together with other parents via Teams and share opinions\, ambitions\, and barriers they have experienced. Everyone is welcome to contribute at their own pace\, with no expectations. \nETU will then look at everyone’s input from both sessions and work to make any \nchanges and improvements in the help and support they offer.
