DESCRIPTION:The Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS) has organised a new webinar\, “How to Write a Strong Community Ownership Fund (COF) Application”\, taking place on Tuesday 5th December\, 10am – 12pm. \nThe Community Ownership Fund (COF) has been designed to help communities across the UK take ownership of local community assets at risk of closure\, running until March 2025. \nThe webinar is aimed at groups and organisations looking to submit an application\, or develop their management case\, and will cover: \n\nthe 4 elements to the management case\nwhat makes a strong application to the COF\ninformation required by the assessor\nunderlying information and documentation required\n\nThere will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the presenters from DTAS and their partners involved in the COF support programme. \nTo book your place at the webinar\, please visit the booking page. \nAlternatively\, for further information on the Community Ownership Fund\, and the resources available\, visit the MyCommunity website. \nSupport resources available include: \n\nFAQs\nrecordings of webinars specifically designed for:\n\nheritage assets\npubs\, shops and cafés\n\n\nan editable version of the COF application form\nan enquiry form\ninformation on business planning and asset management\, raising match funding (including using community shares as match funding)
