SUMMARY:Disability Employment Gap SPS Training for Employers
DESCRIPTION:The Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE) is the lead partner in the Disability Employment Gap Public Social Partnership (PSP)\, which has been commissioned by Scottish Government. \nThe PSP aims to increase employers’ confidence\, awareness\, and capacity to recruit and retain disabled employees. They will provide free\, online introductory support and training sessions throughout March on topics related to fair and equal recruitment and employment practices\, with the next sessions taking place on: \n\nMonday 22nd March\, 11am – 1pm\nWednesday 24th March\, 11am – 1pm\nMonday 29th March\, 2pm – 4:30pm\nWednesday 31st March\, 12m – 2:30pm\n\nFor a full list of the PSP’s available training sessions\, and to book your place\, please visit the Eventbrite page. \nAlternatively\, for all of SUSE’s online courses and training\, visit the SUSE website. \nThe PSP will also deliver 5 pilot projects focused on the following workstreams over the next 12 – 14 months: \n\nEmployment within the Public Sector\nAttracting and Recruiting\nRetention\nTransitions\nUnder Represented Groups\n\nWith in each pilot project\, the PSP would like to work with forward-thinking\, inclusive\, innovative and creative employers\, whether or not they have previous experience of employing disabled people.
