SUMMARY:Digital Accessibility Training for Employability: First Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Lead Scotland is hosting a series of Zoom webinars about accessibility in digital content\, with the first taking place Wednesday 13th October from 1pm. \nThe webinars will examine the most common accessibility problems within digital content and instruct participants how to avoid these issues. They are intended for people looking to improve their employability through enhancing their digital expertise. \nEach webinar covers a single topic: \n\nlayout\ntext format\nplain English\ncolour and contrast\nmouse friendly navigation\nkeyboard friendly navigation\n“alt text” (alternative text)\ncomplex images\ncaptions and transcripts\nforms\n\nIn addition to being hosted via Zoom\, the webinars will make use of Google Jamboard; people do not need a Zoom account or Google account to participate\, but will need an email address and a reasonable internet connection. \nPeople can also attend as many of the webinars as they like\, but must register for each one individually. \nFor further information\, including all webinar dates and how to book you place at any webinar\, please visit the Lead Scotland website. \nAlternatively\, for further information\, contact the team by email: BuildBackDigital@Lead.org.uk
