SUMMARY:Dementia Information Sessions for Carers: “Dementia and Sleep”
DESCRIPTION:In addition to their “Care with Confidence” sessions\, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre runs monthly Dementia Information Sessions for carers. Upcoming dates include: \n\n“Sensory Issues and Dementia” on Tuesday 25th May\, covering the sensory challenges people with dementia may experience (including lack of spatial awareness or double-vision)\, hypersensitivity to noise\, and loss of taste or smell).\n“Dementia and Sleep” on Tuesday 29th June with NHS Forth Valley Occupational Therapy\, looking at way to help improve a healthy sleep pattern for people with dementia (who can have issues with sleep if their sleep-wake cycle is disrupted).\n\nAll sessions are 10:30am – 12:30pm\, via Zoom.
