SUMMARY:Dementia Friendly Singing Session
DESCRIPTION:The Freedom Of Mind Community Choir will be providing 2 free dementia friendly singing sessions\, on Wednesday 6th September and Wednesday 20th December\, 2:30pm – 4:30pm in Camelon Parish Church Hall\, Falkirk. \nThese sessions will include singing well-known songs\, and are free to access\, with refreshments provided halfway through the session. \nWhile the sessions are designed to be dementia friendly (and particularly suitable for people with dementia and their carers)\, they are also an opportunity for anyone of any age and background who might be interested in joining the choir\, but wants to try it out on a one-off basis\, to meet the members and sing some of the choir’s repertoire in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. \nFor further information\, please view or download the session flyer\, or contact co-music director Kim Edgar by email: kimtedgar@hotmail.com
