SUMMARY:COVID-19 Protection Levels Update: Falkirk Entering Level 1
DESCRIPTION:Scottish Government has announced that\, from Saturday 5th June\, Falkirk will enter Level 1 of the COVID-19 protection tiers. \nHowever\, many of the surrounding areas (including Stirling and Clackmannanshire) will remain in Level 2 due to their higher number of confirmed cases. Glasgow will also enter Level 2. \n(Image caption: a blue banner reading “Coronavirus (COVID-19) Community Responses\, Guidance and Resources” in white text; click the banner for the main COVID-19 page.) \nLevel 1 restrictions mean that\, amongst others: \n\nyou should still work from home where possible\nyou can meet socially in groups of up to:\n\n6 people from 3 households in your home or theirs\, and can stay overnight\n8 people from 3 households in an indoor public place like a café\, pub or restaurant\n12 people from 12 households outdoors\n\n\nunder 12s do not count towards the total number of people or households meeting outside but do count towards household numbers indoors\nyou do not need to physically distance from family and friends in a private home\nyou can travel anywhere in Scotland in Levels 0\, 1 or 2 but must not enter a Level 3 or 4 area unless for a permitted reason\nyou can travel to England\, Wales\, Northern Ireland\, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands (but check the travel rules in those countries before travelling)\nyou can provide informal childcare\, for example to look after a grandchild\nup to 100 people can attend weddings and funerals\ntradespeople can carry out any work in your home such as painting\, decorating or repairing\nonly a few types of businesses (including nightclubs) must remain closed\n\nSocial distancing\, masks and hand sanitiser is still required in public places (unless exempt). \nFor further information on Level 1 restrictions\, and what is and isn’t allowed\, please visit the Scottish Government website. \nAlternatively\, for information on Saturday’s changes\, please read Scottish Government’s news announcement.
