DESCRIPTION:contactSCOTLAND-BSL is holding a free webinar on Thursday 23rd January\, 2:30pm – 3:30pm\, providing a brief overview of their free online British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting video relay service (VRS). \nThe service (funded by Scottish Government and delivered by Sign Language Interactions (SLI)) enables Scotland’s BSL and D/deaf communities to make contact with all public bodies and third sector organisations. Since June\, the service has been extended to 24/7 provision and now also provide calls to the private sector. \nThe webinar will use the Zoom platform\, and will cover: \n\nwhat contactSCOTLAND-BSL is\nhow it is used\nhow organisations can promote access for D/deaf BSL users\narranging on-site visits and staff training\n\ncontactSCOTLAND-BSL is free to use for members of the BSL and D/deaf communities\, and all public bodies and third sector organisations.
