SUMMARY:Connecting Volunteering Network: August 2025 Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our next Connecting Volunteering Network will take place on Wednesday 27 August 2025\, 10am – 12pm at Falkirk Community Fire Station\, Westfield\, Falkirk\, FK2 9AH. \nWe will be joined by Lynn Raynal from The Wood Foundation\, who will share information on The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI)\, and how it can benefit attendees. The YPI enables young people to advocate for social issues in their local communities in a bid to secure a £3\,000 grant for their chosen charity\, through teamwork\, research\, and competition. As the biggest independent programme being delivered through Scottish education\, the YPI aims to empower tens of thousands of young people each year to make a difference in their communities. \nThere will be time for discussion and networking; refreshments will also be provided. \nTo attend\, or for further information\, please contact the CVS Falkirk & District team by email: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
