SUMMARY:Community Land Ownership Workshop for Intermediary Organisations
DESCRIPTION:Community Land Scotland\, Scottish Government’s Community Land Team and the Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) are holding a training workshop on community land ownership on Thursday 13th February\, 9:30am – 1pm. \nThe workshop takes place at the CVS Falkirk office\, Unit 6\, Callendar Business Park\, Callendar Road\, Falkirk\, FK1 1XR\, and is open to third sector intermediary and support organisations working with communities (including community groups) in urban areas across Scotland. In particular\, the workshop is aimed at: \n\norganisations working with urban communities who might be interested in community land and asset ownership\nthose interested in gaining insight into the different routes to community ownership\nthose who want to feel confident in providing initial advice and referring communities to the most relevant organisations who could support them on their ownership journey\n\nAttendees will receive an overview of the different routes to community ownership (negotiation\, Community Asset Transfer\, and Community Right to Buy)\, and the support available to community groups. \nThe workshop is free\, and lunch is provided\, but spaces are limited and booking essential. \nPlease inform organisers of any dietary requirements when booking\, in order for them to accommodate. \nTo book your free place\, or for further information\, please visit the Eventbrite page.
