DESCRIPTION:The Community Empowerment Grant\, administered by Falkirk Council\, is now open for applications. \nThe Community Empowerment Fund (part of the broader UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)) is a community capacity building initiative aiming to boost local community projects across the Falkirk District. \nChanges from Previous Years\nThe UK Government has introduced a revised set of outcomes for the SPF programme\, available on the Falkirk Council website (linked for your convenience). \nAs the programme is time limited\, all funds will be allocated from a single round of grant applications and awards in the coming weeks\, with deadlines for all grants in June 2025. \nGrants Available\n\nCapital Facilities Improvement Grant: application deadline 11:59pm Sunday 1 June 2025.\n\nUp to £15\,000 capital funding towards projects that result in the creation or significant improvement of a building or facility owned or controlled by a non-profit\, community benefit organisation. \n\nSmall and Start-Up Grants: application deadline 11:59pm Monday 30 June 2025.\n\nFunding to deliver new or expanded services within local communities\, including activities\, events and volunteering opportunities.
