DESCRIPTION:Merrilees Family Funeral Directors of Middlefield are once again hosting their free Christmas Day dinner on Wednesday 25th December 2024. \nThis year’s event will be in St Francis Xavier church hall in Hope Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 5AT\, making access and parking easier for all those attending. \nInviting people to book a place\, the organisers said to the Falkirk Herald: \n“All are welcome to our community event\, including families\, couples\, and individuals\, regardless of whether we have cared for your family or not. \n“This event aims to help and support those in our community who need it and to prevent anyone from spending Christmas alone.” \nThis year there is a dedicated fundraising page (linked for your convenience) where people can contribute towards food and drinks. They are also donating 20 filled Christmas Eve boxes to local children\, which can be reserved by contacting them on Facebook. \nFurther information on this event is available via the Falkirk Herald article and the Merrilees Family Funeral Directors Facebook post.
