SUMMARY:Community Choices Small Grants Programme Deadline
DESCRIPTION:Falkirk Council has launched the latest phase of the Community Choices Small Grants Programme\, which is now open for project idea submissions. \n\n\n\nCommunity Choices is Falkirk Council and Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership’s participatory budgeting programme. It gives local people a way to apply for public money to improve their local area and vote to decide how public money is spent. The grants in this phase are Small Grants of up to £5\,000\, which can be used for projects which benefit local communities\, such as: \n\npurchasing equipment\norganising community events\nundertaking small improvements to facilities\n\nThe allocation of funds is ward-based\, and distributed across Falkirk District. \nInformation Sessions\nDrop-in sessions are being held at the following dates and locations\, to help local people and third sector groups and organisations find out more about the Community Choices Small Grants: \n\nTuesday 4 November 2025\, 10am – 12pm: Falkirk Library\nTuesday 4 November 2025\, 2pm – 4pm: Denny Library\nThursday 6 November 2025\, 10am – 12pm: Meadowbank Library\nThursday 6 November 2025\, 2pm – 4pm: Bo’ness Library\n\nKey Dates\nKey dates for this phase of Community Choices: \n\nThe deadline for project submissions is Monday 1 December 2025.\nThe voting phase will open on Monday 2 February 2026 and close for voting on Friday 27 February 2026.\nSuccessful projects will be announced on Friday 27 March 2026.\n\nHow to Apply and Further Information\nFor further information\, including how to apply and all eligibility criteria\, please visit the Community Choices website (linked for your convenience).
