DESCRIPTION:Central FM has launched their Central FM Local Hero Awards 2023. \nThroughout August and September\, people throughout Forth Valley have the opportunity to nominate the individuals\, charities\, key workers\, NHS workers\, Emergency Services and voluntary groups who make a huge difference to their local communities. \nNominations close at 11:59pm on Saturday 30th September; Central FM’s judging panel will then go through the entries and select 2 finalists per category\, who will be invited to attend a glittering awards ceremony on Friday 17th November\, at the Dunblane Hydro. \nCategories\nThis year’s award categories are: \n\nChild of Achievement/Courage Award sponsored by the Glenbervie House & Country Estate\nContribution to Charity Award sponsored by Dickson Middleton Chartered Accountants\nNHS Employee Award sponsored by Forsyth’s of Denny\nBest Business in the Community Award sponsored by Handelsbanken\nEmergency Services Hero Award sponsored by Bruce Taxis\nCarer of the Year Award sponsored by Christie’s Scottish Tapas\nMake a Difference in the Community Award sponsored by the Thistles Stirling\nBravery Award sponsored by Thistle Roofing Ltd\nCommunity Group Award sponsored by Western Toyota Stirling\nTeacher of the Year Award sponsored by Forth Valley College\nSporting Hero Award sponsored by Jarvie Plant Hire\nNeighbour of the Year Award sponsored by Denny Pharmacy\n\nDeadline Dates and How to Nominate\nThe deadline for nominations is 11:59pm on Saturday 30th September. \nTo nominate a local person you believe has gone above and beyond to make their community a better place\, please visit the Central FM website. \nSupporters\nThe awards are supported by the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce\, who are the leading business membership organisation in the Forth Valley Region\, and part of the worldwide long-established Chamber of Commerce brand.
