SUMMARY:CashBack for Communities: Application Deadline
DESCRIPTION:Applications are now open for the next phase of CashBack for Communities funding\, which will provide up to £26 million from April 2026 to end of March 2029. Organisations can apply for grants of £150\,000 – £1\,500\,000. \nThe programme\, managed by Inspiring Scotland\, aims to strengthen communities across Scotland by supporting young people at risk of involvement in antisocial behaviour\, offending or reoffending. The funding\, which reinvests criminal assets recovered through the Proceeds of Crime Act\, will provide the opportunities and the tools to support young people to make informed decisions about their future. \nIn this phase\, successful applicants will deliver early and effective prevention activities for children and young people aged 10 – 25 years old. By strengthening ties with local communities\, CashBack for Communities aims provide positive activities for young people facing the greatest challenges. \nThis phase will focus on: \n\nProviding safe spaces and suitable activities for young people to combat boredom\, frustration\, and isolation\, which can contribute to antisocial behaviours.\nSupporting young people to understand their own value and become positive influences and leaders within their communities.\nDelivering holistic support for particularly vulnerable young people\, which includes their family or care environment. Where a young person may have the potential to come into conflict with the law\, support will be extended for family and caregivers.\nOffering support for young people who are already in conflict with the law to reflect on past behaviours and work towards a more positive future.\n\nThe deadline for applications at 12pm on Thursday 7 August 2025. \nOrganisations interested in applying are encouraged to start their application as soon as possible; the Inspiring Scotland CashBack team will be unable to support with general enquiries after Thursday 31 July 2025\, and organisations are advised to aim to have their applications finalised by this date as a result. As a long-standing\, multi-year programme\, Inspiring Scotland expects to receive an increased number of applications. \nFor those who did not have a chance to attend one of the information sessions on how to apply\, Inspiring Scotland recommends watching the Funding Info Webinar Video Recording (linked for your convenience). \nFor further information\, including how to apply\, eligibility criteria\, and detailed guidance\, please visit the CashBack for Communities website. \nAlternatively\, for further information\, or support with your application\, contact the Inspiring Scotland CashBack team by email: CBEnquiries@InspiringScotland.org.uk
