SUMMARY:Carers Rights Day 2022 Free Sessions
DESCRIPTION:This year\, Carers Rights Day takes place on Thursday 24th November\, with a focus on Caring Costs. \nTo mark this\, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre is hosting an in-person coffee morning\, 10am – 12pm at the Carers Centre\, 1A Bank Street\, Falkirk\, FK1 1NB. \nThere will be various organisations present on the day to offer advice to carers\, including: Citizens Advice Bureau\, Falkirk Council Debt Advice Service\, Forth Valley Migrant Support\, Social Security Scotland\, Falkirk District Association for Mental Health (FDAMH)\, and the Carers Centre themselves. Carers are welcome to attend at any point\, and and refreshments will be available. \nIn the evening\, the Carers Centre is also hosting a Carers Voice session for parent carers\, via Microsoft Teams.  The session is designed to give parent carers the opportunity to have a say and express their thoughts about what affects them as carers. \nFor further information on both events\, please contact the Susan Docherty by phone: 01324 611510\, or email: susandocherty@centralcarers.co.uk
