SUMMARY:“Care with Confidence: Fatigue” Session
DESCRIPTION:The next Tuesday “Care with Confidence” free sessions from Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre are: \n\n“NHS Pharmacy First Scotland” on Tuesday 7th September\n\nAn opportunity to find out about the services pharmacists can provide\, and their role in providing quality healthcare. Pharmacists and their teams are experts in medicines and can help with minor health concerns. A pharmacist\, or a member of the pharmacy team\, can give you advice and treatment (if you need it) for various minor illnesses and common clinical conditions.\n\n\n“Fatigue” on Tuesday 14th September\n\nA session focusing on fatigue and the things carers can do to manage theirs. Fatigue is an extreme\, sometimes overwhelming\, physical and mental tiredness\, that doesn’t significantly improve with rest or sleep. It can affect your motivation and your ability to concentrate\, this is sometimes described as having brain fog. Some people find it affects their emotional wellbeing making them feel irritable or depressed.\n\n\n\nAs before\, these sessions takes place via Zoom\, 10:30am – 12:30pm. \nDetails of the sessions are available in the programme\, available to view or download as a pdf (linked for your convenience). All carers are welcome. \nThe Centre’s new Power of Attorney (POA) programme is also now available\, this time as telephone appointments.
