SUMMARY:Camelon Community Action Plan Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:Camelon’s Community Action Plan (CAP) will be launched during a free family event on Tuesday 20 May 2025\, 6pm – 7:30pm\, at Forth Valley Sensory Centre\, Redbrae Road\, Camelon\, FK1 4AA. \nThe event is open to anyone who lives in Camelon\, as an opportunity for local people to get involved\, have some fun\, and see how their ideas have shaped a plan to help their local area thrive. \nCommunity Action Plans are a shared process to including community groups and organisations in having community conversations\, involving a careful\, planned approach to how to improve services\, the local environment\, or the local economy; the Camelon CAP has been designed as “a plan developed with local people\, for local people”. \nThe event begins with a short welcome and an introduction to the plan\, which focuses on the priorities that matter most to the Camelon community – from safer streets and better outdoor spaces to more activities for young people and stronger support for local groups. There will also be stalls from local organisations\, showcasing the work already happening across the area\, plus activities for children\, including free face painting\, seed planting\, and tea\, coffee and biscuits. \nThe event aims to offer local people the opportunity to find out what is included in the plan\, what is happening next\, and how they can get involved. \nThe Camelon CAP is available to view or download as a pdf (linked for your convenience). \nFor further information\, please visit the event page.
