SUMMARY:Braveheart Walk Leader Course
DESCRIPTION:Braveheart’s next free Walk Leader course will take place on Friday 12th May\, 10am – 4pm at the Whins Resource Centre\, The Whins\, Alloa\, FK10 3SA. \nAs part of the Braveheart team\, Walk Leaders support individuals to become more physically and socially active in their communities. Braveheart promotes healthy lifestyles with a focus on preventing development of long-term conditions\, and has an extensive network of weekly and monthly walks. Walk Leaders work with Braveheart’s walking groups in areas such as Callendar Park\, leading the group at a pace and distance which suits the group.  They also test any walks Braveheart organises outside the usual area. \nWhile the course is free\, participants must book their place in advance. \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please contact Eva Finlayson by phone: 01324 673703\, or email: eva.finlayson@nhs.net
