SUMMARY:Bank of Scotland Energise Grant Programme Reopening
DESCRIPTION:Bank of Scotland’s Energise grants programme will open soon\, on Monday 2 June 2025. \nThe Energise programme provides unrestricted funding\, which gives charities greater scope to cover essential costs\, and deal with challenges quickly and effectively. Unrestricted funding can be used towards core costs\, delivery costs\, project costs\, and general running costs\, enabling charities to use their funding in the way that helps them best. \nIn recognition of the impact the cost of living crisis is having on people across Scotland\, and to ensure the funding can reach those in real need\, the Energise grants programme for 2025 will solely focus on helping charities who support vulnerable groups/people. \nNew for 2025\, Energise has 2 funding tiers based on the income of charities: \n\ncharities with an income of below £50\,000 are eligible for a 2 year unrestricted grant of up to £20\,000 (£10\,000 per annum)\ncharities with an income of £50\,000 – £150\,000 are eligible for a 2 year unrestricted grant of up to £40\,000 (£20\,000 per annum)\n\nEligibility Criteria\n\nApplying charities must be registered in Scotland with a charity number beginning SC0.\nThe charity must put vulnerable people at the heart of everything they do.\nThe charity must operate in Scotland and benefit people living in Scotland.\nCharity income must be £150\,000 or less.\nCharities must have a minimum of one year’s account lodged with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).\n\nFull eligibility can be found on the dedicated Energise grants page. \nApplication Deadline and How to Apply\nThe deadline for applications is Wednesday 11 June 2025; groups will be notified of their application’s outcome by the end of August 2025. \nFor full details of how to apply\, or for further information (including full eligibility and exclusions)\, please visit the Bank of Scotland Foundation website.
