SUMMARY:Anti-Poverty Strategy Info Session for the Third Sector
DESCRIPTION:The Fairer Falkirk team is beginning the process of creating a new anti-poverty strategy to replace the current “Towards a Fairer Falkirk” strategy and Falkirk’s Child Poverty Action Plan. The new strategy will have a broader scope\, aiming to tackle the impact of poverty in all its forms whilst still retaining a focus on child poverty. \nThe new strategy is expected to launch in Spring 2024. \nHosted by our team at CVS Falkirk\, as part of our support of this work\, the Fairer Falkirk team invites staff and volunteers from across Falkirk District’s third sector to an online information\, taking place on Monday 6th November\, 10:30am – 11:30am\, via Teams. \nThe session is aimed at helping third sector groups and organisations find out more about the new anti-poverty strategy\, and its consultation process.
