DESCRIPTION:Passion4Social is hosting a free\, accessible webinar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Wednesday 10 December 2025\, 12pm – 1pm. \n\n\n\n“AI for Good: Ethics\, Inclusion and Sustainability” aims to provide participants with insights into “the double-edged role of AI”: its potential to expand access\, independent living\, and opportunities to progress\, as well as the risks it poses when not designed and deployed responsibly. \nThe webinar is aimed at: \n\nAI developers and designers\naccessibility and inclusion professionals and advocates\npolicy-makers and public service bodies\nEquality\, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) champions\nanyone interested in the future of ethical\, inclusive AI\n\nDuring the webinar\, Passion4Social will cover: \n\nhow AI is empowering minoritised communities and supporting independent living\nareas where AI systems reinforce bias\, digital exclusion\, and systemic inequalities\nwhy inclusive\, ethical design is critical for sustainable and socially responsible AI\npractical steps for building AI that recognises diversity and lived experiences\nlegal frameworks that support accountability\, transparency\, and justice\n\nNo technical knowledge is required to attend or participate. \nAccessibility support is available on request\, including live captions\, audio descriptions of materials as they appear on screen\, and British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation; please note that organisers ask that these options are requested at least 7 days in advance of the webinar\, either by selecting them when booking your place\, or by contacting them directly by email: support@accessibilityforall.scot \nTo book your place\, or for further information\, please visit the dedicated Humanitix page (linked for your convenience).
