SUMMARY:ACIE 2017 Scottish Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Association of Charity Independent Examiners (ACIE) will be holding their Scottish Conference on Thursday 24th August at the Perth Concert Hall\, Mill Street\, Perth\, PH1 5HZ. \nThe event will feature a wide range of workshops and speakers\, and the first “Scottish Examiner’s Question Time”\, where attendees’ questions will be answered by the panel.  The conference is an opportunity to learn\, share good practice and support the work of charities in Scotland. \nThere will be information and discussion relevant to a range of sectors\, from accountants in practice\, who have charity clients\, to the TSI network and community accountants\, to church and charity finance staff\, treasurers and trustees\, to voluntary independent examiners. \nThe conference will also provide the opportunity for attendees to meet other Independent Examiners and the ACIE board. \nEarly Bird tickets (available until Monday 7th August) are £90 each; thereafter\, tickets cost £120\, or £60 for Voluntary Independent Examiners.  ACIE are happy to discuss discounted rates for group bookings or for smaller charities. \nTo book your place\, or for further information (including a list of workshops)\, please visit the ACIE website. \nAlternatively\, for further information contact ACIE by email: info@acie.org.uk
