DESCRIPTION:CVS Falkirk – Volunteer Friendly Award \nInitial Assessment \nArrange a meeting with one of our Volunteer Development Officers; Natalie or Carolyn who will meet with you to discuss and go through the initial assessment.  This includes looking at all of the documentation you currently have relating to your volunteer programme as well as providing you with a log in for the Volunteer Friendly Award website. \nPeer Support Group \nWe have arranged for one of our training rooms to be available for peer support throughout the process of undertaking the volunteer friendly award.  You can come along and have space to work on your portfolio\, chat with colleagues from other organisations going through the process and also speak to our staff about any point within Volunteer Friendly. \nProvisional dates: \nThursday 19 November – 2pm – 4pm \nThursday 17 December – 2pm – 4pm \nThursday 21 January – 2pm – 4pm \nThursday 18 February – 2pm – 4pm \nThursday 17 March – 2pm – 4pm \nOne to One Meeting \nArrange a meeting with one of Volunteer Development Officers to discuss the progress you have made\, your portfolio or any query you may have in completing all of the strands. \nReview \nOnce you have completed your portfolio and the associated documents we will arrange to meet with you and submit your portfolio for assessment. The Volunteer Development Officers will have the dates of the next assessment panel meetings to help you plan your submission. \n Achieving the Volunteer Friendly Award \nOnce you have been given notification of your achievement through Volunteer Friendly we will arrange to present you with your certificate and accreditation.
