The European Youth Foundation (EYF) is an independent, international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to the positive development of children and young people. To support its objectives the Foundation makes grants to not for profit youth organisations and networks.
The types of activities supported include international youth meeting, the development of projects that benefits young people and help towards the work plans of eligible organisations and networks. The priorities for this funding round are: Advancing democratic citizenship through innovative forms of participation; Autonomy of young people and their access to rights; and Promoting inclusive and peaceful societies.
The next application deadline is the 1st October 2015.
In addition the Foundation also funds a range of pilot projects. In 2015, the EYF will pay particular attention to pilot activities dealing with the following themes: Strengthening civil society, with a special focus on Ukraine; Fighting extremism and hate speech online; and Participation and integration of migrants and young refugees in society. Pilot projects can be submitted at any time.
To be eligible for funding organisations need to register with the EYFat least two weeks before the application deadline.
