The opportunity involves a six week induction and training course, followed by placement in an ESOL group, where you will assist the group tutor to help the learners develop their confidence in using English. As the learners are living and working in the Falkirk area, a local accent is of benefit.

Once the training is complete there will be a discussion about the groups and the opportunities available.
There are groups most days, in the morning, the afternoon and the evening, allowing you to be placed with a group that suits you.
Once matched in a group you will be supported by the group tutor, who will help you to develop your skills as a tutor.
The next session of training starts begins on Tuesday 5th April 2016 9.30am – 12pm. The course runs every Tuesday in Park Street Community Education Centre, Falkirk, and is open to those aged 18 and over.
