The DM Thomas Foundation for Young People (formerly The Hilton in the Community Foundation) provides grants for charities in the UK.
The Central Grants scheme is intended to support registered charities that work with disadvantaged children and young people. The scheme aims to help young people gain skills through education projects and relieve suffering through health-related projects.
Funding is available for registered charities that are working with disadvantaged children and young people that are considered to be most in need. Charities must work directly with the young people or provide facilities for their direct benefit.
Grants of up to £30,000 are available. Grants can be awarded for medium to long-term projects (i.e. over one year) or for one-off causes. A maximum limit of two years of support can be provided.
Application deadlines are: 28 July 2015 and 13 October 2015.
