The Power Station, Whitecross in partnership with The Coalfields Regeneration Trust are looking for a Development Officer, who is likely to be a community activist, to join them in delivering a programme that will encourage residents to take action that makes a positive difference.
This post is initially for 12 months with a salary of up to £25,000 depending on experience and will be based in Whitecross, Falkirk.
The Development Officer will listen to the concerns of their community and help them to progress the issues that matter and create positive change locally. In addition the Development Worker will be required to provide limited support to assist the Bo’ness Community progress with their 5 year community action plan.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust will work closely with The Power Station Committee and provide mentoring and coaching support from a dedicated CRT Officer coupled with accredited training such as the PDA in Capacity Building, Volunteering and Youth Work etc.
