Denny and Dunipace Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB) are currently recruiting a Financial Inclusion Outreach and Education Worker.
The position is 34 hours per week, with a salary of £23,782 per annum and a fixed term contract of one year, based at the Denny and Dunipace CAB office and working throughout the Falkirk area.
The successful candidate will work as part of a new project, providing information, advice and education around budgeting, financial planning and financial products.
The project proposed is centred around financial inclusion sessions in schools using a game (similar to Monopoly) previously developed by Perth CAB, which allows children and young adults to choose some scenarios at the beginning, with various events and obstacles occurring throughout the course of the game, while participants answer questions related to financial products; these can be tailored for the age of the group.
In addition, the successful candidate will run financial education, advice outreach and support sessions with groups in the wider Falkirk area, including workshops for parents and young adults.
Applicants should be confident in advising, presenting and working with different groups in the community. A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 19th June. Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 24th June.
