Adult Support and Protection (ASP) are holding Defensible Decision Making training on Tuesday 22nd May, 9:15am – 4:30pm at the Camelon Education Centre, Abercrombie Street, Camelon FK1 4HA.
The training is aimed at:
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
- Nurses who will be required to act as Council Officers
- Team and Service Managers who will manage, or are managing, Council Officers
- relevant key Managers in NHS Forth Valley or Police Scotland
The aims of the training are:
- consider the range of information sources which may impact on decision making
- explore the nature and provenance of information and evidence
- explore the interconnected nature of differing viewpoints
- examine some theories of collaborative decision-making
- practice making professional judgements using live examples
- critically analysed your own decision-making process
