Falkirk Champs is a group for Falkirk young people with experience of living in care. This could be:
- Residential or secure care
- Foster care
- Kinship care
- Looked-after at home with a supervision requirement
- Any kind of care pre or after adoption
The Champions Board is a way for Falkirk’s looked after children and young people to have a voice in how they are cared for, and to influence policy and practice.
A short film has been made by the Falkirk Champs about the difficulties that care-experienced children and young people face in schools. They hope this important video will help highlight what needs to change to ensure all Scotland’s Children are shown the care and love they deserve so they can thrive.
