The Mental Health Foundation is looking for 20 – 30 people with diverse life experiences and perspectives of mental health, inequality, disadvantage, and/or discrimination, to join the new Diverse Experiences Advisory Panel for Mental Health and Wellbeing (DEAP).
This panel will advise Scottish Government on how experiences of inequality affect mental health and wellbeing and how government policy can support good mental health for all.
They are looking for people with a range of lived experiences to take part in this panel. Anyone aged 18 years old and over, living in Scotland, with an interest in mental health and equality, can apply to join DEAP by submitting an Expression of Interest. Applications from individuals who have no previous experience of being involved in policy or service development are especially welcomed.
All panelists will receive support and training, tailored to their needs and preferences, to help them in their role.
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 5pm on Thursday 7th April.
