Cyrenians have been funded by the Scottish Government Aspiring Communities Fund to research and develop ways to increase the uptake of volunteering and employment opportunities for people with convictions.
As a result, they are currently recruiting for a Research and Project Development Officer, based in Falkirk.
The position is for 25 hours per week, with a salary of £23,382 – £25,688 pro rata (plus pension), and is initially funded until Saturday 31st March 2018.
This role is part of Cyrenians’ new Prepare Sustain Support (PSS) project, and is responsible for the development of a business case to be implemented as a pilot of the project. This will include: gathering evidence, preparing and reporting findings, disseminating results, creating strategies and policies, and the design of training programmes.
They are looking for a dynamic individual with proven experience of working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and with different levels of support needs. The successful candidate will be highly organised and confident, with the ability to engage with a range of audiences, have strong analytical skills and have experience of working within a project framework.
