Cyrenians are currently recruiting a Navigator for their Prepare, Support, Sustain Project in Falkirk.
The position is 28 hours per week, with a salary of £20,798 – £23,256 pro rata (plus pension), and is developed in partnership with the Falkirk Community Justice Partnership.
The aim of the Prepare, Support, Sustain Project is to reduce the barriers faced by people who want to move on from the criminal justice system and access universal services including employment, volunteering and training opportunities.
This post will provide one-to-one and group support to individuals who have past or present involvement with the criminal justice system. Building strong relationships with external agencies will also be a vital part of this role, in order to improve access for the client group as well as generate opportunities.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the barriers people face. Applications are encouraged from individuals who may have lived experience, such as experience of the criminal justice system or long term unemployment, who will be able to use their knowledge and experience to assist others.
