The Scottish Government have published a consultation on draft regulations for asset transfer under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, and are looking for public input.
The consultation seeks views on draft regulations setting out proposed procedures for making and dealing with asset transfer requests, for reviews and appeals, and on the registers of land which relevant authorities must publish. They also explain the requirements of the Act and provide pointers on best practice. It is expected that final regulations will be presented to the Scottish Parliament in September 2016.
The closing date for response is Friday 20th June 2016.
