Falkirk Community Trust are currently looking for conservation volunteers to take part in various volunteering days.
Volunteers will be doing a range of tasks over the year including tree planting, scrub clearance and wild flower seed bombing.
The group will meet at the visitor centre of Muiravonside Country Park at 10am where they will then head out in to the park to do a day’s conservation.
The dates are as follows:
- Wednesday 24th February
- Wednesday 23rd March
- Wednesday 27th April
- Wednesday 25th May
- Wednesday 29th June
- Wednesday 27th July
- Wednesday 31st August
- Wednesday 28th September
- Wednesday 26th October
- Wednesday 30th November
Volunteers are encouraged to come prepared for all weathers, wearing sturdy boots and steal toe caps if they have them. Volunteers should bring lunch and anything else they might need for the day. All tools and gloves will be provided.
Volunteers can be any age, however those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
