Social Enterprise Scotland’s (SES) second online session on Scottish Government’s consultation on Community Wealth Building (CWB) legislation takes place on Monday 27th March, 12:30pm – 2pm.
One of a 3 part series of sessions on the consultation, this session is designed as an informal space for people to share their views and experiences, which will inform and shape SES’ consultation response.
SES believe social enterprises are critical to the development of CWB, which is an approach designed to tackle long-standing economic challenge in Scotland by focusing on growing the influence communities have on the economy, and ensuring communities receive more of the benefits from the wealth they help generate.
Their 3 part session is designed to help social enterprises in Scotland be informed on the consultation, and have their voices heard in the process.
The final session (linked for your convenience) takes place on Wednesday 19th April, as a special joint meeting of the Cross-Party Group (CPG) on Social Enterprise and the CPG on the Wellbeing Economy, taking place in-person at Scottish Parliament. During this session, SES will share their response to the consultation, and discuss what is next for CWB and social enterprise.
For further information on the second session, including how to book your place, please visit the SES website.
Alternatively, if you are unable to attend any of the sessions, or would prefer a one to one conversation, contact the SES Policy Officer Georgie Price by email: georgie.price@socialenterprise.scot
