The Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016 has been passed by Parliament, and the new arrangements are due to be fully implemented by Saturday 1st April 2017.
As part of the transition work, Falkirk Council are currently working on a baseline assessment of needs and service provision across Falkirk. This will lead on to a Falkirk outcomes improvement plan.
To start the process, the council are holding an event for non-statutory Community Justice Partners on Friday 17th June, 9:30am – 1pm at Carronvale House, Larbert, FK5 3 LH.
The event will be an opportunity for partners to meet and talk about what progress has been made towards the transition so far, and to discuss what the current needs and service provision looks like in Falkirk. Lunch will be provided.
