Community Jobs Scotland (CJS) are currently accepting applications from Scottish charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises interested in creating new funded job opportunities.
CJS is a Scottish Government funded programme which offers an introduction to the third sector by creating a wide range of jobs for young people, aged 16-29, with a focus on:
- disabled people
- care-experienced young people
- Armed Forces early service leavers
- young people with convictions
- young people on an Activity Agreement
All jobs created must offer at least 25 hours of work per week, be paid at £5.60 per hour, or the National Minimum Wage rate (appropriate to age), and last for at least 52 weeks.
Organisations who have not been involved in CJS before should register online by Friday 19th May to create and submit each of the opportunities they wish to be considered for.
Existing employers should login to the CJS salesforce portal to enter each of the opportunities they wish to have considered.
