The NHS Health Promotion Service has announced their Community Grants Funding Scheme is now open for applications this year.
Three large grants (up to a maximum of £1,500) are available, with a further 15 small grants available, up to a maximum of £400.
Applications will be considered from community groups and organisations across Forth Valley, and must address one or both of the Health Promotion Service Priorities: Health Inequalities and Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Groups applying must have a bank account in the name of their group, with 2 signatories on all payments. Activities promoting religious or political beliefs, private companies or individuals, and organisation running costs will not be funded.
Funding decisions will be made by a panel from the Health Promotion Service. Successful applicants will be required to submit an evaluation report and a brief financial summary on completion of the project or activity.
The deadline for applications to the 3 large grants is Friday 20th September.
Applications to the 15 small grants will be open until March 2020; however, the panel will consider applications regularly over the coming weeks, and those wishing to apply are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
