The Community Development Alliance Scotland (CDAS) is inviting its member organisations to take part in a short survey focused on the Community Learning and Development (CLD) Outcomes 2025 – 2028.

About the CLD Outcomes 2025 – 2028

Community Learning and Development (CLD) in Scotland is currently being shaped by the Learning: For All. For Life independent review (2024), and subsequent work led by the CLD Strategic Leadership Group. This included the development of a Statement of Strategic Intent, and the CLD Outcomes 2025 – 2028 (endorsed by the Strategic Leadership Group), which set out a framework intended to guide and support change and improvement across the sector.

These developments form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen CLD’s contribution within Scotland’s wider learning, education and community landscape.

About the Survey

The purpose of the survey is to gather the views of CDAS members on the Outcomes, the current direction of CLD policy and practice, and the role of community development within these developments. Findings will contribute to an evidence base on the perspectives and experiences of CDAS members, and help inform ongoing discussions and decision-making across the CLD sector.

The deadline for responses is 11:59pm on Monday 27 July 2026; the survey should take approximately 10 – 15 minutes to complete.
